TNC mobilizes the local church in missions through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences.
The local Nazarene Missions International (NMI) council encourages you to pray for NMI interactive experiences such as Work & Witness and Youth Missions Events that involve you, the people. We also encourage you to pray for regional and world-wide events. See the Interactive Experiences section below.

The Church of the Nazarene is a Wesleyan holiness denomination of nearly 2 million members across 155 world areas. Our mission is to make Christlike disciples in the nations.
Toward this end, Engage magazine is a global gathering place for Nazarenes to celebrate and share with each other how God is involving them in His mission for the world.
Content on Engage is updated as they receive new contributions. They warmly welcome readers to register as contributors and submit their own stories, personal essays, photo essays and other content related to their participation in mission.
They also invite readers to share these stories with friends, local churches, Sunday School classes, and mission gatherings, when crediting Engage magazine as your source. Visit their website (link below) to read their Terms Of Use.

The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. It gives a sense of permanence, the attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to “put down roots”. The entire offering goes toward the construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers. Eighty percent is used in world mission areas, and twenty percent goes to multicultural congregations in the United States and Canada. Alabaster funds help provide land for most Work & Witness projects.
Our church is heavily involved in Work & Witness through donations and volunteer laborers. There are many W&W trips throughout the year that can involve those from teenagers on up.
No particular skills are necessary, just your willingness to help others. Prayerfully consider what part God would have you take.
See the Work & Witness web site.
Missionary to the Ukraine, Sean Johnson, spoke to us about the work there. “Many homeless children in the Ukraine are in need of your help. At the ‘House of James’ their mission is to provide shelter, food, clothes, education, a warm bed and a message of hope and love through the gospel of GOD.”
See the House of James web site.
Rev. Harmon and Cindy Schmelzenbach have served since 2000 as fourth generation Nazarene missionaries. Based in Fiji, they coordinate both the JESUS Film and FIJIBoat Projects for the South Pacific Field Church of the Nazarene. They send an email newsletter about their work in Fiji.
