    1. Belief in someone is powerful!!!
      1. God believes in you and it is powerful!!!
  2. No Idols

    Exodus 20:4–5a

    4“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

    5“You shall not bow down to them or worship them …”

    1. What about mental gods we create?
      1. Santa Clause god
      2. Policeman god
      3. Judge god
      4. Politician god
    2. What is God like?
      1. Powerful…created the universe
      2. Wise…knows what we need; what will make us happy
      3. Humble…came as a baby
      4. Compassionate…cares; encourages
      5. Forgiving…forgives and carries the load of our guilt
      6. Loving…died for you; does well for us
      7. He believes in you!!!…Therefore you have POWER!
  3. Conclusion
    1. We will never be satisfied apart from Christ!
    2. How do we respond to that love?
      1. Simple as A, B, C
        1. Admit you have disobeyed
        2. Believe (trust/accept) that He died for you
        3. Confess He is your Savior
