“Let’s Worship!”

(Psalm 117:1-2)

¹Praise the LORD, all you nations;
extol him, all you peoples.

²For great is his love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.

1. Focus on Jesus and His qualities

(Psalm 118:1)

¹Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

(II Chronicles 7:14a)

¹⁴if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves…

(II Chronicles 7:14)

…and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

(Revelation 22:8-9)

⁸I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. ⁹But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

²⁹ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name.
Bring an offering and come before him;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

⁴One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

A psalm. For giving thanks.

…come before him with joyful songs.

³Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

⁴Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

⁵For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
