1. Lies are called truth

(v. 10a)
¹⁰Finally, be strong in the Lord…

1. We need strength because of the power of the enemy.

(v. 10b)
…and in his mighty power.

1. Because we are weak
2. To avoid failure
3. Because of who we are
4. Holiness is relational

(vs. 11–13)
¹¹Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
¹²For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
¹³Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

1. We need protection
2. To take a stand

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

(v. 13a)
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground…

4. To stand at the end

…and after you have done everything, to stand.
