      1. Hope sustains our mental picture.
      2. Paul had a vision of a man from Macedonia (Acts16:9).
      3. When we have a mental picture, it starts expanding our faith.

  2. Commitment (3:7-9)
    1. God gives us a promise and His oath. It is impossible for Him to lie. (Hebrews 6:17,18)
    2. We are persuaded that what God has promised, He is able to perform. (Romans 4:21)

    1. Determine To Know Christ
    2. Internalize His words - How?
      1. Stop
      2. Lie
      3. Truth
  4. Never Give Up (3:12,14)
    1. Press On (3:12,14)
    2. I'll make Christ my own as He has made me His own (verse 12)
