There are some exciting changes to Children's Bible Quizzing this year! The most important change is that we will be using the quiz curriculum as an opportunity for family discipleship. The students will keep their quiz books at home. As a family during the week, you will have the opportunity to read the scripture passages, pray together, and ask God to reveal His truth for your family, and then complete the question-and-answer portions of the book. On Sunday mornings, the students will meet in Room 203 to review the week's study through fun and engaging activities!
Children's Quizzing is a Bible Study for children in grades 1–6. The philosophy of Children's Bible Quizzing is Bible study. It is important to help children know what the Bible says and help them demonstrate biblical teachings in actual life situations. The goal of Children's Bible Quizzing is for children to know the God of the Bible.
This year's study will cover 1 and 2 Samuel. These books show the Israelite people disillusioned with the Lord as their King, and their desire to have a king “like the other nations.” Samuel, Saul, and David are introduced. Children learn how Jerusalem became the center of Jewish religion. This study also prepares the children for the next study, the focal point of the entire study, Matthew.

TNC is teaming up with Buckner International to ask you to collect shoes for children in need. The 10th annual nationwide Shoes for Orphan Souls shoe drive is seeking to collect more than 250,000 pairs of new shoes, socks and shoestrings, with a nationwide campaign. Since 1999, Buckner has sent more than 1.9 million pairs of new shoes to at-risk children in the United States and in more than 68 other countries around the globe.
We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week—or more. Now turn those shopping trips into easy cash for your school, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip them and bring them to the Box Top$ container in the lobby—each one is worth 10ยข for Tempe Christian PreSchool. They all have expiration dates so bring them in before they expire.
The children of TCPS thank you for your support!

TNC is partnering with the City of Tempe to reach out and help neighbors in our community in need. Tempe Neighbors Helping Neighbors was formed to provide assistance to low income and frail Tempe residents who could not maintain or stay in their own homes without help. TNHN seeks to provide such residents with volunteers who will assist with yard and landscape maintenance, minor home repair, and minor modifications. By providing assistance, volunteers will help residents maintain their home's appearance, safety, accessibility and quality of life.
Contact the church office for an application if you're interested in volunteering for this worthwhile endeavor.
